Carbon footprints establish the relationship between specific activities and their respective climate impacts. They represent the starting point for any climate protection scheme – anything from individual measures to comprehensive climate strategies. Greenhouse gas balances are also the basis for transformation concepts to climate neutrality.

Introductory offer for small organizations
For businesses with up to 25 employees, a quick and easy estimation of the carbon footprint can be made with our free Excel-based calculation tool. The areas taken into account include energy (for 1 building), vehicle fleet (maximum 5 vehicles) and business trips.
This calculation tool for smaller company sites is provided by KlimaManufaktur. KlimaManufaktur GmbH is the compensation service provider of FutureCamp and belongs to the FutureCamp family. Package offer for medium-sized organizations
We offer medium-sized organizations (up to 100 employees) a flat-rate, cost-effective consulting package. The following areas are covered quickly and easily:
- Energy and water (electricity, gas, heat, water, wastewater from max. 5 buildings)
- Mobility (own vehicle fleet with up to 25 vehicles)

2. CO2 reduction potentials and targets
Based on the CO2 balance, measures can be developed and implemented to reduce energy demand and CO2 emissions: We identify reduction potentials and advise on the introduction and continuation of energy and environmental management systems, among other things.
We help organizations with the definition of CO2 reduction targets, science-based targets and the derivation of climate pathways to identify opportunities and risks related to climate change and to develop (climate) strategies.
We prepare studies and transformation concepts, e.g. for associations, from a wide range of industries. Here, we use different technology scenarios and climate pathways to show how a transformation of the respective sector towards greenhouse gas neutrality in 2050 can be achieved.
3. CO2 compensation and climate neutrality
Only as a final step will CO2 emissions that are impossible or economically unfeasible to avoid be offset by investing in climate protection projects. This step can also be part of your climate strategy.
We support our customers in developing climate-neutral products and offsetting unavoidable emissions. For CO2 compensation, we draw on our own project portfolio or we identify high-quality climate protection projects and procure the CO2 certificates.
Product Carbon Footprints
It is becoming increasingly important to determine the exact carbon footprint of a single product. Suppliers, in particular, are faced with this requirement more and more often on the customer side. If the customer also wants to use this information in his sustainability reporting, recognized standards must be used.

FutureCamp is the market leader in the preparation of CO2 balances for state governments
We supported the state administrations of Baden-Württemberg, City of Hamburg, Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saxony and Thuringia in drawing up a CO2 start-up balance, the identification of reduction potentials, the derivation of reduction paths - partly including the definition of compensation strategies. The goal is to strive for a climate-neutral state administration.
Bavarian State Ministry for the Environment and Consumer Protection
Together with the Bavarian State Ministry for the Environment and Consumer Protection, we developed the CO2 starting balance and reduction potentials. In addition, we supported the climate neutralization for the year 2018 by offsetting the unavoidable CO2 emissions through identification of suitable climate protection projects, as well as procurement and retirement of the CO2 certificates in the appropriate registers.
